We'll be releasing Directory Opus 10.0.5.0 in the next few days. Here's a video guide to some of the new features.
You can try most of these things already by downloading Opus 10.0.4.4-beta, if you don't want to wait.
The video is in 720p format with optional subtitles.
These are just the highlights and there are lots more changes and bug-fixes which you'll find in the release notes.
We hope you like the new version, and the video!

As usual, another incredibly informative video. I love these!
These video's are great. I keep learning new things about DOpus with each one.
DOpus just gets better and better. The videos are very helpful, because they reveal vital tips beyond the new features themselves. Keep up the great work!
I agree, the great videos are definitely helpful and I learn something new every time. Thank you for such an outstanding and useful tool I use every day.
You are Amazing and so is Dopus! Thnk you for all your hard work; it is appreciated as is the video.
I've been a user of your software for 14 years and I also admire your dedication and devotion to Dopus. Thank you from California
awesome as usual! keep 'em coming! :)
I purchased the prior version 9 and never used it (and I tried I really tried.) Then I bought 10 and still never use it. I want to, but I find I just can't deal with it. And it's not a learning curve, I understand what is going on - but it appears chaotic to my mind. I am dyslexic which might be why I struggle with it visually. I am going to try yet again as I see the merits of using this program. In any event, thanks for the update!
@Anonymous (27 April),
I'm not sure what you mean by things appearing chaotic to your mind. Basic usage of Opus is very similar to using Windows Explorer, and the more advanced functionality is all optional and can be used (or not used) at your own pace.
Do you find the same with other software or is it something specific to do with opus?
What could we do to make things better for you?
To Leo...
You see I want the advanced functionality because I can see the potential of what it can do – Explorer is extremely limited – Opus blows it away! Your idea is a very good one – just use it like Explorer… and then add slowly and see what I can deal with. This is not your program, it’s me. I have trouble with graphs as well and yes I can be particular about how I set up software. Good software gives you a choice on how to view data as does yours. Opus is so customizable you can be quite creative. This is just me venting frustrations over my limitations. Dyslexics see things differently so getting the data in the right format so I can read it and comprehend it correctly the first time is critical. I seem to do better with the windows on dual horizontal. I will do what you suggested and see out how far I can take it. Rest assured, even if my limitations stand in my way I can still discern that Opus is an incredible piece of software. Thanks so much for responding!!
